Founded in 2003 by Paul Malave, Fireline Creative began its roots in a modest neighborhood in Chicago, operating out of a high traffic, high visibility, corner storefront office (see photos above). Fireline began as a local multimedia company specializing in Website Design, Graphic Design, Advertising, Printing, Audio, and Video Production.
Providing these services to many different types of small and medium sized businesses, word quickly spread about the above average quality and value of our services. We were an innovative multimedia company making it easy and affordable for businesses to fulfill their creative needs quickly and efficiently. Using state-of-the-art technology, we offered a variety of services that helped businesses grow. We always believed in working for people the way we would want them to work for us. Because we go above and beyond for every customer, wIthin a short period of time, Fireline quickly expanded, moving to a larger location in downtown Chicago on Ohio and Lake Shore Drive, next to Navy Pier. At this new location, Fireline Creative added the ability to deal with large corporate projects, employing some chicago’s best designers, editors, and creative talent. At this time, we decided to shift our focus primarily to Web, Marketing, and Media, although we are still able to provide any service in multimedia and marketing that is needed for a project.
Soon, we decided to build our own private Chromakey Studio, with a 24ft wide green screen to add advanced effects to our media and video. If you are not aware of what a green screen is used for, it allows us to remove the background from a subject, or everything that is green, and replace it with new backgrounds, effects, motion graphics, and do much more. For example, when you watch the weather on the news, you see the meterologist standing directly in front of weather maps, the country, weather patterns, and much more, changing in real time. In reality, they are standing in front of a blank green screen, and a computer replaces anything that is green with backgrounds of their choice. In the photos taken in our studio below, you can see the last picture with the man standing next to the drum set. We put him in black and white so you can see how he separates from the background. We placed him in the red picture below, adding effects so you can have an idea of what a the screen is used for. You can not create these highly creative and artistic types of photos or videos around a subject without using a green screen.
Today, Fireline Creative has offices in Chicago and has global access to private offices around the world.
